Outdoor Bat Repelling

Cleanrth Products replied: No, in fact we usually suggest using two devices together when dealing with a stubborn situation. Setting the "Confusion Switch" on each unit to a different setting really works to power out the bats.
Pro Tip: For large infestations, use multiple units with different settings to maximize the "confusion effect" on bats.
How many units do I need for an 11,000 sq ft lodge with bat issues in 5-6 rooms?
Cleanrth Products replied: We would recommend at least one per room, for the rooms that are most active with the bats to have at least 2. Does the device work through a double-pane glass window?
Cleanrth Products replied: As with any device that uses sound, the more material that is between the device and the problem pest, the less the amount of sound will be able to penetrate. That being said, some Alaskan customers have reported success going through double-paned glass or even an exterior wall, but other customers unfortunately reported no luck trying the same thing. We offer a one-year return policy so you can test effectiveness in your specific situation.
How long does it typically take to see results?

Cleanrth Products replied: The CB006 bat repeller is completely safe for use around house birds and parrots. The ultrasonic sounds it emits are at frequencies too high for them to detect.
Will this harm my pets?
Cleanrth Products replied: No, this device is 100% safe to use around cats and dogs.
Does the device harm owls or other birds in the area?
Cleanrth Products replied: The ultrasonic sound that this device emits is far out of those animals' hearing range.
Can I use the device safely in my bedroom?
Cleanrth Products replied: Yes! Our device is completely inaudible to the human ears and won't cause any disturbances to you or any household pets!

Do you have this product with 220v?
Cleanrth Products replied: Unfortunately, we do not. All of our devices are 110v and would need a step-down converter to be used with 220v power.
Does the CB006 produce above 20 kilohertz?
Cleanrth Products replied: Yes, it does. Most people can hear up to 20 kilohertz and cats and dogs can hear up to around 23-24 kilohertz. This is designed to be above that to specifically target bats.
Can humans hear the sound from the units?
Cleanrth Products replied: The ultrasonic sounds emitted by the CB006 bat repeller are at frequencies too high for humans to hear, as they exceed the human hearing range.
How long will a unit continue to work?
Cleanrth Products replied: The CB006 bat repeller has a lifespan of 5-6 years. It features indicator lights to confirm its proper functioning. As long as you see the red flashing light and two steady green lights, your device is working correctly.
Installation & Operation
What do the indicator lights mean?
Cleanrth Products replied: The flashing red light indicates that the device is operational. The two green lights represent the status of the left and right speakers. When set to Full Power, both green lights remain steadily lit. When set to Chaotic, the green lights blink as the speakers operate intermittently.
Should I leave the device plugged in all the time?
Cleanrth Products replied: It is best to leave the CB006 plugged in 24 hours a day/7 days a week. This way you are covering your infested area continuously. Unplugging it and plugging it back in is only teasing the bats.
What should happen when the test switch is pressed?
Cleanrth Products replied: When you press the test button, you will hear a slight noise. This is just to show you what the bats hear. The test button is not the main repelling feature. If you don't hear anything, try changing the Bat Target switch from Stage 1 to Stage 2 and hold the test button for ten seconds.
Can I put the device in a fireplace for bats in a chimney?
Cleanrth Products replied: Yes, as long as you can get power to the unit you should have no issue placing it there.

How should I position units for bats between outside wall and roofline?
Cleanrth Products replied: I would suggest one device outside facing the wall you are hearing the bats in and one inside aimed to the wall or area you are hearing the bats in. This way you are targeting the bats from both inside and outside the home.
What's the best model for bats in Spanish roof tiles in Costa Rica?
Cleanrth Products replied: The CB006 or the CIN009 will both work well for your situation. The main difference is that the 009 will target bats but has the ability to also target rodents.
